Particularities of spatial kinetics of hybrid thorium reactor installation containing the long neutron source based on magnetic trap

In this work, we study the features of spatial kinetics installation as a hybrid thorium reactor with an elongated plasma neutron source based on magnetic trap. The active zone under consists assembly hexagonal fuel blocks unified design and long solenoid high-temperature column passing through axial region core. Combining engineering expertise in creating nuclear reactors physics-technical potential for obtaining trap ensure solution multidisciplinary problem posed. These studies are undoubted practical interest, since they necessary to substantiate safety operation such systems. research results will allow optimizing system leveling resulting offset radial energy release distributions.
